The Restaurant Supervisor / Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily front-of-house operations at Beach House and Marina Bar & Grill, splitting time between both locations based on business needs. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on providing an excellent guest experience, supporting the restaurant team, maintaining service standards, and keeping operations running smoothly during busy shifts.

The Floor Manager will be highly visible on the restaurant floor, working alongside servers, bartenders, hosts and other team members while assisting with guest needs, resolving service issues and ensuring both restaurants are properly staffed and prepared for service.

Because both locations have outdoor and open-air operations, this position requires someone who is comfortable working outside in Florida's heat, humidity, sun, wind and occasional rain and who enjoys an active restaurant environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations at Beach House and Marina Bar & Grill.
• Split time between both restaurants according to business levels, staffing needs and operational priorities.
• Lead and supervise restaurant employees during assigned shifts.
• Act as the manager on duty when assigned.
• Ensure restaurants are properly staffed, organized and prepared for each shift.
• Monitor guest service throughout the operation and step in when needed.
• Greet guests and maintain a visible presence on the restaurant floor.
• Handle guest questions, concerns and service recovery in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor food and beverage service to ensure quality, presentation and timeliness.
• Work closely with kitchen leadership to maintain smooth communication between front and back of house.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor table turns, reservations, seating flow and wait times as applicable.
• Ensure servers, bartenders and hosts are following established service standards.
• Assist with training and coaching new and existing employees.
• Provide ongoing feedback and address performance issues as needed.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing adjustments based on business volume.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality and employee appearance.
• Ensure employees follow proper uniform, grooming and safety standards.
• Monitor cleanliness and organization of dining areas, bars, patios and surrounding guest areas.
• Ensure side work and closing duties are completed properly.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
• Assist with cash-handling and end-of-shift procedures as assigned.
• Follow all alcohol service, food safety and resort policies.
• Communicate operational issues, maintenance concerns and guest feedback to management.
• Work closely with other resort departments to support a seamless guest experience.
• Assist with special events, high-volume periods and resort activities as needed.
• Maintain a professional, positive and team-oriented work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Food & beverage experience in a resort, hotel, high-volume restaurant or similar environment is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Must be able to work outside and in open-air environments for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable working in Florida heat, humidity, direct sunlight, wind and occasional rain.
• May be exposed to temperatures that vary significantly throughout the workday.
• Must be able to walk between Beach House and Marina Bar & Grill as required.
• Must be able to frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel and move throughout restaurant and service areas.
• Must be able to lift and carry supplies, trays, boxes and other items weighing up to approximately 30–40 pounds.
• Must be able to push or pull carts and other equipment used in restaurant operations.
• Must be able to safely navigate stairs, uneven surfaces, wet floors and outdoor walkways.
• Must be able to move quickly through busy restaurant environments while maintaining awareness of guests, employees and equipment.
• Must be able to remain on your feet while supervising extended service periods.
• May be exposed to loud environments, kitchen heat, food-service equipment and normal restaurant hazards.
• Must be able to perform physical duties safely and efficiently with or without reasonable accommodation.
