Laundry Team MemberWe are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Laundry Team Member.What will you be doing most days?Operate washing and drying equipmentLoad and unload textiles from machinesMeasure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to formulas providedMonitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to immediate supervisorSet the proper drying and cooling times for different types of linenClean machines and surrounding areasSort linen and terry itemsPre-treat items for stains as neededFold linen and terry according to property specificationsTransport linen and terry within the laundry area and to linen storage areas within the hotelComply with hotel safety requirements for supplies, equipment, and facilitiesOther duties as assigned by the Housekeeping SupervisorWhat are the requirements for this position?You have the ability to work well with others in a guest and team-focused environmentYou have the ability to work well on a teamYou have a customer service focus to anticipate guest needs, greet and acknowledge guests and team members, respond to requests, and ensure guest satisfactionYou have perseverance to complete work efficiently with attention to quality and detailYou have a strong action orientation to deliver the desired outcomeYou have working knowledge of the use of laundry chemicals and different formulas, as well as effect on various types of linenPhysical Requirements for this PositionThis is a physically demanding position.
