Job Summary:

Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) in Denver, Colorado. This seasonal travel position involves providing specialized care in a busy obstetric unit with a focus on high-risk pregnancies and deliveries. The role requires independence, clinical expertise, and the ability to support colleagues across different shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure to practice as a registered nurse, with a minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital labor and delivery experience; certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or membership with the American Association of Nurse-Midwives (AWHONN).
• Preferred Qualifications: Meditech electronic medical records experience, PACU experience, OR experience.
• Responsibilities: Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries, D&C procedures, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions. Manage high-risk obstetric cases with a patient ratio of 2:1.
• Additional Information: The unit features new equipment and technology, staffed with experienced professionals. The team is self-motivated and capable of supporting high-acuity obstetric cases, providing a dynamic and challenging environment for qualified candidates.
