We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Estimator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape the future of our fast-paced, rapidly growing construction company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and bids for various construction projects, including demolition, dirt work, concrete, asphalt, and finish grade. The candidate will also have experience with bid2win and trimble software. Knowledge of federal, state, and county regulations is essential. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive cost estimates and bids for a wide range of construction projects.
2. Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts.
3. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects during the estimation process.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
5. Use bid2win, trimble software to manage and track estimates.
6. Understand and adhere to federal, state, and county regulations related to construction projects.
7. Participate in bid negotiations and contract reviews.
8. Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in construction technology.
9. Provide mentoring and guidance to junior estimators.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience with demolition, dirt work, concrete, asphalt, and finish grade.
3. Proficiency in bid2win, trimble, and Heavybid software.
4. Solid understanding of federal, state, and county construction regulations.
5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
6. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
8. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
9. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. Professional Estimator Certification (PEC) will be an added advantage.
