Work Environment

This position is onsite and primarily involves home care, allowing you to work closely with patients in the comfort and familiarity of their own living spaces. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive clinical assessment and intervention, ensuring a safe and compliant treatment approach that aligns with our commitment to optimal patient outcomes.
• Design and implement tailored rehabilitation programs in collaboration with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team, addressing the unique needs of each patient especially in pediatric cases.
• Mentor and educate students and fellow professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
• Engage in the performance improvement committee and participate in departmental projects aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on best practices in physical therapy, including recent developments in treatment modalities, coding, billing practices, and compliant documentation standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse population that includes orthopedic patients and their families. This role involves working with individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions, requiring a compassionate approach to address their physical and emotional needs. Your ability to connect with patients and communicate effectively will be key to achieving successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• A current and valid California Physical Therapist License is a must.
• Strong manual therapy skills with a deep-seated passion for empowering patients to achieve their maximum potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial to building rapport with patients and collaborating effectively within the care team.
• Solid understanding of human physiology and anatomy relevant to physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
