Ultrasound Technologist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist with experience in general and vascular ultrasound. The candidate must possess strong clinical skills and be able to adapt to varying operational needs by floating to different units, departments, or patient care areas as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics through general and vascular ultrasound procedures.
- Ensure quality imaging and accurate patient assessments.
- Collaborate with medical staff to discuss patient findings and treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and maintain professional certifications.
Qualifications
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certifications must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Less than one year of ultrasound experience preferred.
Shift Information
Position available for day shifts, working 4x10 hours. Holiday coverage is required.
Additional Information
Expectations include adherence to high-performance standards. Failure to meet these expectations may result in immediate contract termination.
