What You'll Do

• Provide expert neonatal care in a Level III NICU and newborn nursery setting
• Attend and manage high-risk deliveries collaboratively with OB teams
• Deliver patient-centered care to approximately 9-11 neonates daily
• Mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory therapy teams
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neonatologists and nurse practitioners
• Participate in strategic growth efforts and patient safety programs
• Optional moonlighting opportunities across Virginia

What You Need

• Required:
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology
  • Valid medical license for Virginia or qualified to obtain one
  • Residency within the immediate local area (relocation support may be provided)
• Preferred:
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a NICU environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
