NOW HIRING: Experienced Line Cook / Prep Cook (Full-Time)
Bowlounge — Dallas Design District
Starting Pay: $16–$20/hr (based on experience)
Bowlounge is a high-energy entertainment venue with great drinks, great food, and a lot going on—pickleball, bowling, pool, darts, and private events. Our scratch kitchen is a big part of the guest experience, and we’re looking for an experienced Line Cook / Prep Cook to join the team full-time.
If you’re fast, consistent, clean, and know how to hold down a station (and knock out prep like a pro), we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Work the line during service with speed, consistency, and attention to detail
- Handle daily prep: knife work, batch prep, sauces, proteins, and station setup
- Follow recipes/specs and execute scratch items the right way every time
- Keep your station stocked, organized, and ready for service
- Maintain strong standards for cleanliness, food safety, and proper storage
- Communicate with management and team to keep tickets moving and the kitchen flowing
- Help with closing duties: breakdown, labeling, cleaning, and resetting for the next shift
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years experience as a line cook and/or prep cook (high-volume is a plus)
- Open/flexible availability-AM and PM shifts, weekends
- Solid fundamentals: knife skills, timing, station organization, and sanitation
- Calm under pressure and able to move with urgency when it gets busy
- Reliable and consistent—shows up ready to work and supports the team
- Comfortable following systems and standards (and helping improve them)
- Toast experience is a plus (we use Toast)
