Physical Therapist Assistant

Hudson In Home Physical Therapy provides outpatient physical therapy to older adults in their homes throughout New York City. We are specifically looking to fill a position in the Riverdale/ Yonkers/ Bronx. We are a Medicare part B in home practice, and we are looking for an experienced and passionate physical therapist to join our growing team! We are open to bringing on a new grad as well!! Our clinic focuses primarily on geriatrics, providing one on one care for our patients. We offer competitive hourly rates, the flexibility to organize your own weekly schedule and the autonomy to create meaningful and customized hour-long treatment sessions. Our ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills in order to maximize patient outcomes. This is a great opportunity for a physical therapist who is looking for a different model of treating, outside the clinic, a physical therapist already making home visits who would like to take on additional work, or a physical therapist who is looking for a high level of flexibility in their work schedule. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients in their homes Provide creative and individualized treatment sessions Engage family and caregivers as needed, providing education/HEP/DME recommendations Thoroughly complete all documentation via WebPT Maintain frequent communication with your supervisor and patient representative Requirements Active NYS License and Registration Eligibility to work in the US Ability to document per Medicare guidelines Ability to document evaluations and treatment sessions in a timely manner Ability to treat patients I the home, independently, without an onsite supervisor #J-18808-Ljbffr
