About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Digital & AI to spearhead the integration of digital, automation, and AI initiatives within the firm and its portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving high-impact use cases, building data foundations for AI implementation, and developing fund-level AI capabilities. This role is pivotal in setting and guiding the AI strategy, evaluating third-party technology partners, and ensuring the successful deployment of solutions that lead to tangible operational improvements. The Vice President will also be expected to operate within the portfolio companies to secure stakeholder buy-in and ensure the adoption of initiatives. Applicants for the Vice President, Digital & AI position at the company should have a background in manufacturing or industrial operations, with a strong understanding of on-the-floor processes. Hands-on experience in AI implementation, particularly in manufacturing or private equity settings, is essential. The role requires a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, proficiency in AI tools and software, and a proven ability to influence executive management teams. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of execution, be adept at managing complex projects, and possess a strong commercial understanding, including P&L analytics and project value assessments. The position demands a strategic thinker who can align AI initiatives with long-term operational and portfolio objectives and is willing to be based in or relocate to Pittsburgh or New York, with significant travel.
