The Registered Dental Assistant ensures that quality patient care is a priority. Dental Assistants are an essential part of the team that help the dentist to set up equipment, educate and prepare patients for treatment, aid the dentist in the safe and efficient execution of procedures, and record and document procedures as directed by the Practice Leader.Schedule: Full-time / Part-timeDental Assisting Job Responsibilities:Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for dentistsKnowledge of general anatomy of the mouth and dental termsUnderstanding of crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals and implantsAssisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needsTaking and processing X-rays of patientsPerform lab tasks as instructedGreeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointmentsAdvising patients on recommended oral hygieneMaintaining accurate patient records and assist with payment proceduresStrong communications skills required to deliver oral hygiene and post-operative care instructionsHandling general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental practiceQualifications:RDA/CDA preferred.RHS Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Certification required.Current CPR certificationOutstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethicStrong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with your co-workers and patientsDriven personality to want to strive to be the best in your profession and provide the best care for our patientsCompensation & Benefits:Guaranteed Hourly RatePaid Vacation & Paid Holidays401k Program: with matching contributionsBenefits: (offered at 30 hours or more)Competitive health, dental, and vision planLife Insurance and Disability InsuranceFlexible SchedulesFLSA Status: Non-ExemptWe are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
