Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• Titration of Vesicant Meds
• Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics
• Experience with Vents and Trachs
• Telemetry interpretation
• Understanding of Hemodynamics and PA Catheter set up and interpretation
• Transvenous pacing and Cardioversion
• Skills in procedures such as Central line insertion, EGD, Bronchoscopy, Chest Tube insertions, Pericardiocentesis, and Thoracentesis

Requirements of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• ICU experience required
• No specific certifications are required; CCRN recommended
