You will engage with a multidisciplinary team, consisting of physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff, who are all committed to the shared goal of enhancing the health and wellness of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Physical Therapist will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to establish their physical health status through a variety of tools and testing protocols, including range of motion, strength assessments, and functional performance evaluations.
• Developing and customizing treatment plans that reflect patient goals and medical recommendations, making adjustments based on patient progress and responsiveness to therapy.
• Providing direct care through the application of various physical therapy modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education in a safe setting.
• Educating patients, their families, and caregivers on self-management strategies, home exercise programs, and the importance of ongoing rehabilitation practices.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate a coordinated approach to care.
• Supervising the work of support personnel and ensuring treatment protocols are adhered to properly throughout the rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will be with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various chronic conditions. Our clients include individuals of all ages, each with unique rehabilitation needs and challenges. By focusing on evidence-based practices and individualized care, you will play a pivotal role in helping patients regain their mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctoral degree (DPT) from an accredited program is preferred.
• A valid and current Physical Therapist license in California.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is mandatory.
• A clean professional record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design tailored exercise regimens.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in outpatient orthopedic settings will have a competitive edge. Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems and familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
