Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is a 365‑entertainment destination for world‑class events located in Austin, TX. The sports and entertainment portfolio at COTA is unmatched in the country with Formula 1 US Grand Prix, NASCAR and MotoGP attracting global fans during championship races on the famed Circuit and Live Nation producing over 30 headline concerts every year at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. Opening in 2026, COTA’s amusement park is a 20‑acre theme park featuring two first‑of‑their‑kind Roller Coasters and over three dozen rides. Karting Supervisor (Full-Time) Job Description The Full‑Time Karting Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that items beyond the day‑to‑day operation of the business are fulfilled. They must guarantee that all part‑time members of the team, from Team Member to Managerial Supervisor, are properly trained and guided. They must also ensure that critical items such as payroll, correctives, drink orders, uniform enforcement, and more are correctly handled and enforced. This position directly reports to the Full‑Time Karting Manager. Job Duties These responsibilities include but are not limited to: Guaranteeing all training is completed and documented Ensuring presentation throughout all parts of the business is adequate Verifying adequate merchandise is in store, working with Merchandise Manager Verifying adequate drinks and snacks have been purchased. Guaranteeing any incident reports are properly completed and filed Overseeing the proper relationship between Maintenance and Pit/Store Scheduling team for regular schedules Working with Full‑Time Manager on needs of department Healthy relationship with Clubspeed and other operational partners Other duties as assigned Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong interpersonal skills; can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization; create and build positive and productive relationships. Physical Demand & Work Environments Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, feel, reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull. Ability to stand/walk for long periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. Work in extreme environments outdoors throughout the year. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.
