Gastroenterologist Faculty

We are hiring general Gastroenterologists to join the Division of Gastroenterology in Albany Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Work in an endoscopy suite equipped with state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, along with anesthesia support.
• Collaborate with colorectal, oncologic, trauma surgeons, interventional radiologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, GI pathologists, and an on‑site infusion clinic.
• Perform a broad range of endoscopic procedures.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Conduct research and perform scholarly work.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine and board eligibility or board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Experience diagnosing and managing a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in NewYork State.
• Strong dedication to providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care across diverse populations.

Compensation

Salary range: $400,000–$450,000 with incentive bonus opportunity.
