She Recruits is partnering with a respected healthcare organization to recruit a Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) for an outpatient behavioral health opportunity based in McBee, South Carolina .

This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. You'll practice across regional outpatient clinics, with two days each week based in McBee , enjoying a predictable weekday schedule, strong clinical support, and an outstanding work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations
• Diagnose and manage a variety of behavioral health conditions
• Develop individualized treatment and medication management plans
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate
• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, nurses, and primary care providers
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
• Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification
• Active South Carolina Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric or behavioral health experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care

Preferred

• Experience in outpatient psychiatry or integrated behavioral health
• Comfortable managing patients with a broad range of psychiatric diagnoses
• Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar EMR platforms

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000-$120,000
• Relocation assistance
