Starting salary $110,000 or above (commensurate with experience). Bonus! Benefits! Come grow with us!

1. Associate Attorney - Minimum 3 Years of Illinois Family Law Experience or Illinois Litigation Experience

Cohen Law LLC is seeking an exceptional Associate Attorney with a minimum of three years of Illinois family law or Illinois Litigation Experience to join our boutique practice in Northbrook.

This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule with remote work opportunities based on experience, performance, and the needs of the firm. We value collaboration and understand that flexibility helps our team perform at its best while continuing to provide exceptional service to our clients.

This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys litigation, values strategic advocacy, genuinely cares about clients, and wants to become an exceptional family law lawyer. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a meaningful role in our litigation practice, including:

• Managing your own family law caseload with mentorship and support

• Appearing in court for status hearings, evidentiary hearings, and trials

• Drafting pleadings, motions, financial affidavits, discovery, settlement agreements, and legal correspondence

• Conducting legal research and developing litigation strategy

• Taking and defending depositions

• Negotiating settlements while preparing every case as though it may proceed to trial

• Working directly with clients to provide thoughtful guidance and practical solutions

• Collaborating with attorneys and staff to deliver an exceptional client experience
