A leading firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to enhance our Taxation practice, taking on a pivotal role in delivering intricate tax planning and advisory services tailored for entrepreneurial, owner-managed enterprises.

In this position, you will spearhead tax engagements encompassing both corporate and personal tax dimensions, collaborating closely with business owners to devise tax-efficient strategies that align with their overarching financial objectives. 

Your responsibilities will include advising on corporate structure optimization, succession planning, owner-manager compensation strategies, and comprehensive tax optimization initiatives.

You will be tasked with the review of complex tax returns, performing thorough tax research, and providing actionable, strategic recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

A strong command of Canadian income tax legislation is essential, alongside the capability to navigate and apply evolving tax regulations to practical client situations.

Collaboration will be key as you work alongside partners, legal professionals, and external advisors, serving as a primary contact for clients while fostering long-lasting professional relationships.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and developing junior staff, conducting internal training sessions, and contributing to the strategic growth and trajectory of the tax practice.

**Qualifications:**

- Must possess a Canadian CPA designation.

- Completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Program is required.

- 8–10+ years of public accounting tax experience is essential.

- Demonstrated expertise in both corporate and personal tax planning is needed.

- Proven experience with owner-managed business structures.

- In-depth knowledge of Canadian income tax legislation is critical.

- Proficient in advanced tax research and technical writing.

- Experience in reviewing complex tax returns is essential.
