BUDGET ANALYST

This position is being filled under the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense using hiring authority in 5 USC 9905. Veterans Preference: Veterans preference does not apply under this Direct-Hire Authority (DHA). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-13) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience developing and implementing budget processes for the formulation, justification, and execution of an organization’s general fund and Defense-Wide Working Capital Fund (DWCF); AND managing projects and working with colleagues on financial and budget-related matters; AND including experience serving as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR), ensuring contractor performance and compliance with all applicable regulations.
