Diesel Mechanic — Service Writer TechnicianIf you’re a skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, ready to bring your skills to a team that values hard work and integrity, thrives in a hands-on environment, and wants to be part of a company that values innovation and efficiency, we want to meet you.What You’ll Do:Transform brand-new vehicles into fully equipped emergency unitsInstall and integrate truck bodies, wire harnesses, controllers, partitions, auxiliary batteries, light bars, push bumpers, power supplies, component trays, consoles, HVAC connections, and electrical systemsPerform routine maintenance and diagnostics on company and customer vehicles—including diesel platformsSchedule and manage customer service needs with professionalism and accuracyWork independently while maintaining detailed records, identifying efficiencies, and contributing ideas that move the company forwardDiagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systemsPerform routine maintenance and safety inspections on heavy-duty equipmentKeep accurate records of work performed and parts usedMaintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety protocolsWhat We’re Looking For:Valid Drivers licenseProven experience with diesel systems and heavy equipmentStrong troubleshooting skills and mechanical know-howAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to quality and reliabilityAttention to detailPrevious experience Mechanical skills, Bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach above and below shoulder levels, work in, on & under vehicles to do the work. Work in small spaces, Knowledge of diagnostic equipment to find issues. Work with a team or alone Data Entry This is with a well established family owned business in Aroostook County
