The primary purpose of this position is to serve in LGRMSP - Mobility Bag program with Weapon Certification in order to perform protective services work in guarding federally owned property; protecting government equipment and materials and controlling access to controlled storage areas by employees or visitors. Responsible for the storage, inventory, inspection and issue of mobility bags, base mobility small arms/light weapons, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear IPE and IBA. IPE personnel will ensure members verify NSN, contract/lot Number, serial number (when applicable), cage code (when applicable) and quantities issued.

DUTY 1 Plans, develops, organizes, administers, evaluates, and coordinates supply system programs ensuring deadlines are commensurable with mission support.

DUTY 2: Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations

comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.

DUTY 3: Participates in special logistics related operation projects, duties and initiatives and performs special assignments.

DUTY 4: Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

Requirements:

Designated drug testing position

Must pass pre-employment physical

Obtain & maintain a security clearance

May be required to travel to perform temporary duty

May have extended/other than normal duty hours

Incumbent must complete required training to achieve proficiency in handling required weapons for safeguarding

government property.

This position requires incumbent to obtain weapon certification, be on call periodically in case issues occur with Weapons Vault. Incumbent will be required to Bear Arms and guard vault until issue is resolved.

The work requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.

The work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle and/or forklift. An appropriate, valid driver's license will be required for the position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):

1. Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.

2. Knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.

3. Knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition, supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.

4. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy, and maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations.

5. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.

6. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.

7. Ability to complete required training to achieve proficiency in handling required weapons for safeguarding government property.
