You will partner with business and technology leaders to translate data strategy into secure, high?performance cloud architectures, enabling real?time analytics, AI/ML use cases, and data?driven decision?making across the organization.You will provide architectural guidance to implementation teams, ensure adherence to cloud, data, and security best practices, and act as a technical authority to assure solution quality, consistency, and long?term scalability.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and design end?to?end cloud?based data hub solutions, focusing on scalability, security, reliability, and cost optimizationLead solutioning for real?time, near?real?time and batch data processing architectures, including event?driven and streaming data patternsMake technical decisions for cloud services, data platforms, integration patterns, and architectural standardsCollaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture team to ensure alignment with enterprise standards, target-state architecture, and data strategyCollaborate with data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, security, and application teams to deliver cohesive solutionsDefine architecture patterns for data ingestion, streaming, storage, processing, governance, and consumptionProvide hands?on guidance for implementation using Infrastructure?as?Code, automation, and CI/CD practicesLeverage Python for architecture prototypes, streaming pipelines, automation, and solution acceleratorsEvaluate and integrate modern AI/ML and agentic AI tools as part of the data hub ecosystem where applicableEnsure solutions align with enterprise security, compliance, and data governance requirementsMentor and guide engineering teams on cloud, real?time data, and AI?enabled architecture best practicesQualificationsMust have a Bachelor degree; in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline8–10 years of experience designing and delivering solutions on one or more major cloud platforms, with strong hands?on experience in AWSMust have experience designing and implementing real?time or near?real?time data processing solutions (e.g., streaming, event?driven architectures)Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure is a plusExperience with at least one cloud?based data warehousing or analytics platform such as Snowflake or DatabricksProficiency in Python for data engineering, automation, or solution developmentStrong understanding of data architecture concepts including lake-house, data lakes, data warehouses, streaming, and data integrationExperience designing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions in enterprise environmentsProficiency in DevOps practices and Infrastructure?as?Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)Exposure to modern AI/ML technologies and agentic AI frameworks/toolsStrong communication skills with the ability to translate complex architecture concepts to both technical and non?technical stakeholdersLocal residents only, with the ability to work onsite in Troy, MIWhy Join Us?Grow with purpose.
