Position: Direct Support Professional (Entry‑Level) Location: Converse, TX Job Id: 29350 # of Openings: 1 Job Description Make a Difference Every Day: Care for children with autism by building communication, social, and independent skills. Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8am‑5pm (predictable daytime hours, no nights). Optional Saturdays based on patient needs. Position Type: Full‑Time Start Date: Immediate openings available. Training: No experience necessary; paid training and full coverage of RBT certification. Experience That’s a PLUS (not required): childcare, preschool, tutoring, mental‑health roles, camp counselor, paraprofessional, caregiver, or related degree. Pay High School / Associate’s Degree: $15–$22.50 per hour Bachelor’s Degree: $15–$24 per hour Master’s Degree: $16–$26 per hour First raise after earning RBT certification. What You’ll Be Doing Follow individualized treatment plans and record session data. Use play, movement, reading, games, and hands‑on activities to teach children 18 months to 8 years. Stay active and engaged through therapy sessions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment. Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed. Job Requirements Minimum age 18 years. High school diploma. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain active while working with young children. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
