Employees work alongside knowledgeable colleagues in an environment that values communication, professionalism, and helping one another succeed.Growth and development opportunities- Solis invests in its team members by offering ongoing education, training, and opportunities for career advancement, encouraging employees to continue learning and developing their skills.Here is what you will need:Education: Completion of formal radiologic technologic technology training program.Experience: Minimum of two years of healthcare industry experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred; Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred.Licensure: Valid state radiology registration as required by state lawCertification: Current ARRT advanced level certification in MammographyCurrent CPR/BLS CertificationWell organized and detail oriented;Follows direction with focused attention;Exhibits sound judgement;Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations;Forms strong working relationships within the team;Identifies additional tasks to be complete and willingly assist others;Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookPrior experience with RIS/PACS preferred;Completion of formal radiologic technologic technology training program;Understands and communicates medical terminology;A Day in the Life of a Lead Mammographer:Provide services and support for the following areas:Understands, promotes and demonstrates the "Solis Way"Performs mammography and/or assists with biopsies on an as-needed basisMonitors clinical staffing levels.Provides excellent patient care, communicates procedures and provides education on an as-needed basis to new and existing clinical team membersEffectively handles patient complaints as, evidenced by patient survey scores and escalates as necessary;Assists center director in MQSA compliance as it relates to tracking, following up, and credentials;Ensures compliance with all Policies and Procedures;Ensures supplies are available as needed to meet patient demands;Coordinates service and maintenance of equipment to ensure minimal downtime, as requested by the center directorActs as a point of contact for physician offices requiring clinical information and responds to requests within 24 hours;Maintains confidentiality of patient and team member information 100% of the time.Why Solis Mammography?A Great Place to Work, earning this prestigious award for multiple years running.Offer competitive benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Paid Holidays, Backup Child/Adult Care as well as other unique benefits.*Sign-On Bonus is applicable to current qualified Mammography Technologists (ARRT (M)).
