Job Description

Lending Specialist – 6-Month Contract To Hire

We are seeking an experienced Lending Specialist to support loan processing, documentation, closing, and servicing activities within a banking environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage the loan lifecycle from approval through closing and servicing
Coordinate with Relationship Managers, lenders, legal teams, and operations to ensure timely closings
Review loan documentation for accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation
Support loan funding, payments, draws, payoffs, and servicing activities
Resolve transaction issues and communicate with stakeholders throughout the process

Requirements:

5–7 years of experience as a Lending Assistant, Loan Processor, or similar role
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking systems (nCino preferred)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred:

Experience with Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and C&I loan documentation.
