Caregiver

Role Overview: This position involves providing community-based care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will build meaningful relationships, support personal and community integration, and assist with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene and behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Help participants achieve developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Support individuals in engaging with their community and participating in activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene and manage behavioral challenges when necessary.
• Foster a compassionate, patient, and reliable environment to promote growth and independence.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred).
• Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.
