Dental Assistant

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to provide quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, knowledge of dental procedures, and excellent communication skills. JOB DESCRIPTION : Assist the dentist during dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take and develop dental x-rays Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring models and trimming trays Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk when needed Skills Proficient in Open Dental and Dentrix software Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols Ability to take accurate dental x-rays - Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality If you are a motivated Dental Assistant with excellent clinical skills and a passion for providing exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.
