Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 3 Trauma center, requiring a TX or compact RN license and prior OR experience.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a 154-bed hospital
• Facility serves as a Level 3 Trauma Center and Level 1 NICU
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• AHA certifications required
• Active Nursys licensure at time of consideration
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-acuity surgical environment
• Facility is Joint Commission Accredited as a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and an Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center
• Recognized among the top 5% nationally for orthopedic outcomes
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time during the assignment
