Job Description

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, incorporating physical exams and thorough reviews of medical histories
• Aid in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions, leveraging imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative support, preparing operating rooms and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Deliver exemplary pre- and post-operative care, attending to medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practice is highly preferable

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Required certifications include BLS and ACLS
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• Robust understanding of surgical principles along with expertise in sterile techniques
