CNC Machinist - Weekly Pay - $30 to $35 an Hour - Start ASAP

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate CNC lathe and mill machines. While programming is not required, candidates must be adept at reading programs and should have experience with G and M codes. Tool knowledge, including turn tools, groovers, and threaders, is essential. Experience with Fanuc machines is highly desirable as you will be operating both vertical and horizontal machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe and mill machines efficiently.
• Read and interpret programming codes.
• Handle tools such as turn tools, groovers, and threaders.
• Operate both vertical and horizontal machines.
• Work with Fanuc machines to ensure optimal performance.

Essential Skills

• 5 years of CNC setup experience.
• Proficiency with G and M codes.
• Familiarity with vertical and horizontal machines.
• Experience with lathe and mill machines.
• Knowledge of Fanuc machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Expertise in fabrication, blueprint reading, CNC setup, and operation.
• Proficiency with calipers, machining, fitting, assembly, and micrometers.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, air-conditioned environment with no grease or grime. You will handle bearings and metal products, specifically small parts that fit into hoses. The working hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a second shift from Monday to Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. The dress code requires pants and a t-shirt, with layers as needed, and steel-toe shoes. Profanity is not allowed on attire. Join a team of 25 in a close-knit, family-like culture.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
