Job DescriptionPassionate about building SoC verification platforms?Eager to expand into firmware, software and performance analysis?Arm’s System-on-Chip(SoC) Performance Analysis Team in Central Technology group builds early Performance analysis platforms to enable system technology exploration on future Arm System/SoC architecture. Using workload characterization and analysis, we influence future SoC, CPU and IP designs. We are seeking highly skilled and motivated simulation/emulation engineers to join our diverse team at Arm!Responsibilities:As a SoC verification/Emulation Engineer, you will:Develop SoC verification testbench for simulation and Power Performance emulation-based analysisModify RTL and stitch together IP’s to build various SoC flavors.Make incremental changes to system level firmware and bring-up SoC to implement test casesVerify the SoC with bare-metal tests and OS boot.Collaborate with architects to define future SoC architecturesExplore innovative ways for SoC integration, develop supporting tools and workflowsRequired Skills and Experience:Detailed understanding of computer architecture and bus protocolsExperience in bringing-up full-chip SoC test cases in Simulation and EmulationExperience in implementing RTL modules using Verilog/System VerilogExperience in Python/Ruby, C/C++ and assembly languageExperience enabling workloads and benchmarks on RTL Simulation and Power Performanc Emulation environmentsExcellent communication and partnership skillsProactive with strong problem-solving ability“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:Proficiency in Unix/Linux, scripting, and source control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion).Familiarity with one or more CPU instruction setsFamiliarity with ARM architectureExperience with compilers, assemblers, or device drivers.In Return:We will provide the training and environment to excel in this role.
