Tellers help customers meet their financial goals by handling routine financial transactions and giving a warm welcome to everyone who comes into the branch. Tellers inform customers of other products and services that meet their banking needs.Additional job duties include and are not limited to:Maintain customer confidentialityWelcome customers and provide accurate and timely servicesBalancing and maintaining accurate transaction recordsProcess monetary transactions for customers, which can include cashing checks, accepting deposits, handling loan payments. Issuing of cashier checks, money orders, currency orders, and selling license stickersAnswer questions regarding checking, savings, and other bank related servicesQualificationsCash handling and effective customer service experience, preferredStrong oral and written communication skillsMust be accurate and detail-orientedAbility to work varied hours/days as neededMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs of coined money
