About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years minimum License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Travel experience required - Ability to float to various units as needed - Must work weekends and at least one holiday Description: A qualified candidate will primarily be assigned to a telemetry unit. The role may require floating to ICU and other medical-surgical units as necessary. Experience in managing ventilated patients and interpreting dysrhythmias is essential. Candidates must be comfortable providing care to adult and geriatric patients. Successful candidates will work alongside interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services. The facility maintains a strict dress code that candidates must adhere to. Compliance with the dress code is mandatory. Candidates must ensure all visible tattoos are covered, and only earrings may be worn. Facial hair, acrylic nails, and unnatural hair colors are not permitted. All candidates should be able to demonstrate proficiency in electronic medical records and charting systems according to the facility's standards. Willingness to float to different units as required by staffing needs is essential.
