BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Sign Language Direct Support Professionals to join the team in Philadelphia, PA at the 19119 zip code. BAYADA’s Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. We are part-time and provide flexibility with scheduling through various shift locations and times throughout Philadelphia, PA.

Looking for DSPs to work with a male client at 19119 ; must be proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)!

Schedule:

• Monday 3 pm - 7 pm
• Wednesday flexible 4-hour shift
• Friday 10 am - 2 pm
• Saturday flexible 4-hour shift

How You’ll Make an Impact as a Sign Language Direct Support Professional:

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities

Compensation & Schedule:

• Competitive pay rates starting at $18+ / hour with a weekly pay schedule
• Flexible scheduling (part-time, various shifts)
• Short commute times (we try to match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)

Qualifications for Our Sign Language Direct Support Professional:

• One or more years of experience working with intellectual and development disabilities (If you do not have this experience, training MAY be available through our apprentice program)
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to transport clients to community activities
• Fluent in ASL (American Sign Language)
