What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality patient care in a busy ICU setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients' conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Document patient progress accurately using Epic EMR system
• Adapt to float requirements across MICU, Neuro, TICU, or Burn units if needed
• Contribute to a safe and efficient healthcare environment

What You Need

• Valid and active RN license in Louisiana or compact state
• At least 2 years of ICU experience with strong critical care skills
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications; CCRN preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including some holidays and weekends
• Flexibility to float to other ICUs as required
• Navy blue scrubs

About the Assignment

This assignment is with a leading healthcare provider in New Orleans, offering the opportunity to gain valuable ICU experience in a vibrant city setting. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 1:2, ensuring manageable workload and quality patient care. The position requires coverage for 4 weekend shifts per month and participation in holiday staffing.
