Job Description TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Position Details Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated. Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support. Qualifications Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 1 year of recent acute care experience. NBRC‑CRT certification. ACLS, BLS certifications. Possible PALS and NRP certifications may be required in some areas. Physical requirements: stand and walk for long periods, lift 20–50 pounds, meet specific vision abilities.
