Shift: 07:00 - 19:00

Unit Information: ICU

Location: Conroe, TX

Floor: 3rd Floor

Building: 504 Building

Unit Overview

This Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is equipped with 30 beds and staffed by 82 healthcare professionals. The team includes:

  • 2 Charge Nurses
  • 15 Nurses (staffing may vary based on patient acuity and one-on-one needs)
Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 based on patient requirements.

Equipment and Technology
  • Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
  • Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
  • Impella (not mandatory for contracts)
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech

Qualifications

Mandatory Skills:
  • ICU Experience with Ventilator and Cardiovascular Drips
Preferred Skills:
  • Neuro Experience
Procedures Performed

The following procedures are typically performed within the unit:
  • Thoracentesis
  • Arterial Line Placement
  • Central Line Placement
Personality Fit

Ideal candidates should demonstrate professionalism and adaptability to various situations.

Certifications Required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • BASIC Life Support (BLS)

Work Schedule

Weekend Requirements: 4 Weekend Shifts per Schedule

On-Call Requirements: No On Call shifts
