Physician - Critical Care Medicine

Our client is seeking a skilled Critical Care Medicine Physician for a 100-day assignment starting Jul 1, 2026, in Missouri. You will provide critical care services in a ICU and CTU, managing ventilation, performing various invasive procedures, and handling acute patient issues during 12-hour shifts. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver specialized care in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Manage patients in a ICU and CTU Perform Ventilation Management Execute Invasive procedures (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy) Manage Non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP) Perform Chest tube insertion Conduct Bronchoscopy with bronchial alveolar lavage (BAL) Evaluate and manage acute volume/BP issues Perform Insertion of Central line Perform Insertion of Arterial line Perform Insertion of PA catheter Perform Insertion of Intra-Aortic Balloon pump (IABP) Perform Temporary placement procedures Manage ICP evaluation and management Perform Dialysis catheter placement Conduct Diagnostic/therapeutic taps Perform Lumbar puncture Perform Paracentesis Perform Thoracentesis Additional Information Board Certifications: Critical Care Medicine EMR: Epic Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr Barton Associates
