Role Overview The Head Nurse oversees patient care, staff management, and daily operations within a specific nursing department. Key Responsibilities include interpreting diagnostic data, collaborating with leadership to identify improvement opportunities, guiding staff during critical situations, evaluating intervention effectiveness, implementing innovative processes to enhance patient outcomes, and participating in clinical leadership activities such as coaching, staffing, and performance evaluations. They support continuous learning, communicate effectively with care teams, and perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills require a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, computer literacy, and RN licensure with BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Preferred skills include ACLS certification.
