PRN Non-Licensed PROGRAM THERAPIST (MA/MSW)

Responsibilities Hickory Trail Hospital, an 86‑bed behavioral health facility located just south of Dallas, provides inpatient and day treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors and operates 24/7. PRN Non‑Licensed Program Therapist duties include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs and enabling them to access therapeutic treatment skills to achieve optimal emotional health. Responsibilities include providing basic consultation, teaching, social work services, crisis interventions, short‑term family information sessions, and discharge planning. Qualifications Education: Master’s Degree specializing in social work or a related mental health area, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting. Licensure/Certification: Current LPC, LMSW, LMFT license issued by the State of Texas preferred. Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Management of Aggressive Behavior training within 90 days of employment. Thorough knowledge of JCAHO/HCFA, OSHA, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
