Please apply if interested and meet requirements!Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate nurse scheduleAssign patients to nursesEnsure adherence to all relevant nursing standardsMaintain quality assurance of nursing documentation and client recordsCreate reports for senior managementEnsure compliance with nursing policies and proceduresEducate and train new nursesEvaluate nurses’ engagement and performanceInform patients' family members about medical procedures and doctors’ instructionsProvide psychological and emotional support to patients and their family and friendsProvide clinical expertise in the management of medical and psychiatric emergenciesJob Requirements and QualificationsPrevious working experience as a Nursing Supervisor for 1 year(s)Associate's Degree in nursing (minimum)Any additional certification in healthcare administration will be considered an advantageValid nursing licenseIn-depth knowledge of hospital proceduresOutstanding patient management skillsExcellent communication and leadership skillsGreat organizational and time managementProblem solver with a positive attitudeUnder the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner. Some other responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) may include:Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents.
