Gas and Chemical Technician

Gas & Chemical (Megasys Technician) with Logistics
Our client, a leading organization in the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking a Gas & Chemical (Megasys Technician) with Logistics to join their team. As a Gas & Chemical Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting inventory management, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay Range: $28.50-$32/hour
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST
What's the Job?
- Support and lead inventory activities related to gas and chemical usage, including receiving and returning cylinders and ampoules.
- Manage inventory ordering processes and document shipments accurately.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials safely.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations, fostering a zero-incident culture.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for over 2000 pieces of distribution equipment across various vendors.
What's Needed?
- Ability to lift and move cylinders and ampoules weighing over 50 lbs.
- Experience with inventory management, documentation, and reporting.
- Forklift certification and barcode experience are a plus.
- Knowledge of gas, chemical, or slurry equipment operations and maintenance.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
