The health system includes St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, St. Joseph's Wayne Medical Center, St. Vincent's Healthcare and Rehab Center, Visiting Health Services of New Jersey, Inc., and over 36 satellite sites. Physicians work collaboratively with anesthetists in a care team model. Case assignments include Endo, L&D, general, and ortho. Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtain and/or verify patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $535K Pediatric Stipend: $25K Sign-on bonus: Up to $100K package Benefits Generous paid time off Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts / Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule Contact us for more information regarding shifts.
