Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

Job Summary:
This position is a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) role within a Critical Access Hospital laboratory. The successful candidate will perform a range of routine to high-complexity laboratory tests during night shifts, ensuring accurate analysis and maintenance of lab equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of routine and complex laboratory tests using advanced analyzers.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory analyzers, including Roche chemistry analyzers (501, 601).
• Perform quality control procedures to ensure test accuracy and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and repair analyzer issues to minimize test turnaround times.
• Document test results accurately in a computerized, interfaced laboratory information system.
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or an Associate's degree as an MLT.
• Possess previous experience with Gel blood bank systems and Roche chemistry analyzers preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing high-complexity testing in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain relevant certification, such as ASCP MT/MLS, if applicable.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
