Description


Summary:

Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages orders (from guests and food/cocktail servers) according to set procedures as well as act as a property host.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Open and close assigned bars/outlets at the proper time and to the standards set.
• Take drink orders from guests and food/cocktail servers.
• Prepare Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages according to set procedures and recipes.
• Ensure all orders are properly rung up on the POS computer to the correct profit center.
• Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
• Performs other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a bartender in a large volume bar/restaurant or casino bar. Prior working experience as a bar back may be considered
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to walk and stand for long periods
• Use hands to hold tools utilized for position
• Reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Potential Work Environment Conditions

The work environment is characterized as varied requiring multi-tasking, where standard equipment will be supplied and used as a part of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud requiring service to guests who may be smoking and/or drinking alcohol. The work environment is a smoking environment in the building.
