Job Summary

W e are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to perform technical duties within a manufacturing environment. This position will support mechanical and systems-related manufacturing operations by performing testing, measurements, equipment operation, troubleshooting, repairs, and process controls.

Job Description

• Perform technical duties and support projects within assigned manufacturing work groups.
• Complete testing, measurements, operations, and process controls according to established procedures.
  
• Follow job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, bills of material, and other manufacturing documentation.
  
• Maintain production tools, equipment, and work areas.
  
• Troubleshoot and diagnose product, process, and program defects.
  
• Perform repairs and corrective actions to resolve identified issues.
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
  
• Identify mechanical and electrical components.
  
• Perform wire preparation, stripping, crimping, harness repair, and termination as required.
  
• Safely and effectively use a variety of manual hand tools and power tools.
  
• Work with mechanical assemblies, hydraulics, electronics, and automated machinery.
  
• Operate and, when applicable, assist with programming automated machines.
  
• Perform testing and inspections to verify product and process requirements.
  
• Maintain a high standard of quality and ensure work is completed according to specifications.
  
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
  
• Apply Manufacturing System principles and tools to support continuous improvement.
  
• Work collaboratively with engineering, production, quality, and other manufacturing teams.

Skills Required

• Minimum 3 years of relevant manufacturing or mechanical technician experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform testing and measurements.
• Ability to identify components and follow detailed manufacturing instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, product, and process issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The following certifications are nice to have, but not required:

• Forklift certification.
• Overhead crane certification.
• NDI (Non-Destructive Inspection) certification.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High school diploma, technical school education, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay rate

• $22 - $24 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
