Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/06/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Colorado Springs. This position involves providing specialized patient care to critically ill children within a dynamic hospital environment. The RN will deliver high-quality, compassionate care while adhering to safety and clinical standards. Job Details Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Schedule: 36 hours per week Minimum Qualifications: BSN required; minimum 2 years of PICU experience required; previous travel experience preferred; active Colorado RN License or Compact RN License; BLS and PALS certifications Additional Experience: Minimum of 2 completed travel assignments preferred Float: Float rotation may be required, including NICU, Pediatric Medical-Surgical, and Emergency Department units Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend On-Call Requirement: No on-call; can be canceled every 4 weeks Must be available to work 2 of the 3 holidays within the assignment period Orientation: General hospital orientation (1 day), PICU unit orientation (6 hours), Med-Surg orientation (6 hours), NICU orientation Documentation System: Peds Connect (EPIC) Important Requirements: 50-Mile Radius Rule applies; previous travel experience required; must be available to work during specified blackout dates and holidays, including working 2 of 3 holidays.
