Job Summary As a Human Resources Representative for the Manufacturing and Technology project, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our project by performing various HR support activities throughout the project lifecycle. You will foster a positive work culture, optimize talent utilization, and develop your professional skills and knowledge. Major Responsibilities Staffing: Ensure staffing tools are continuously updated to proactively forecast staffing requirements and support the recruiting cycle time by partnering with hiring managers and recruiters. Mobilization: Provide support to employees and their families relocating nationally and internationally, facilitating smooth transition to the project and logistical support including work visas. Onboarding & Orientation: Facilitate seamless onboarding and orientation experiences for new team members so they are equipped with necessary resources and information from day one. Performance Management: Identify areas of improvement, create development plans, and assist managers with conducting regular performance discussions. Employee Engagement: Design and execute employee engagement initiatives to maintain a positive work culture and boost morale. Data Analysis: Analyze employment cycle metrics (hires, promotions, transfers, terminations), design reporting systems, and recommend methods to reduce turnover and increase organizational effectiveness. Training & Development: Coordinate and facilitate training sessions or workshops to enhance team capabilities and foster high‑performing work environments. Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts within project teams, promoting constructive dialogue and amicable solutions. Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements related to human resources. Perform other duties and initiatives as assigned by the Project HR Manager. Education And Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related disciplines with 2‑5 years of relevant experience, or 6‑9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree. Required Knowledge And Skills Knowledge of Bechtel’s organizational structure, HR policies and procedures, and tools (SmartStaff, TalentWorks, SAP). Knowledge of legal requirements affecting HR administration. Experience across multiple HR disciplines (Benefits, Compensation, EEO, Employment, Immigration, Records, Learning & Development, etc.). Skill in research, alternative solutions, and action planning. Skill in preparing and presenting oral and written reports. Bilingual strongly preferred (Spanish – English).
