Job Description
This 13-week emergency department contract is designed for a registered nurse who is comfortable supporting a fast-paced emergency setting during overnight hours. You will provide direct nursing care, respond to changing patient needs, and work closely with the night team from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The assignment includes opportunities to use emergency nursing skills such as IV insertion, EKGs, urinary catheterization, lumbar punctures, central lines, moderate sedation, and cardioversion. Required credentials include BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI. Weekend availability is required, with four weekend days scheduled during the assignment. Nurses should be prepared to wear cobalt or royal blue scrubs. Night owls with an energetic, team-oriented approach will fit well in this role.
