In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our residents' well-being by safely preparing and administering medications with care and precision.Key Responsibilities:Accurately prepare, administer, and chart oral, topical, and suppository medicationsEnsure all medications are administered as prescribed, following proper protocolsVerify medication information against orders and labels for accuracyClearly identify residents before administering medicationsMaintain proper documentation of medications and treatments providedRequired Qualifications:Completion of a State-approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant training program (registration with the State registry required)Completion of a State-approved Medication Aide Course (and applicable continuing education, as required)Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in EnglishBasic math skills and accurate documentation abilityPrior experience in senior care or assisted living is a plusIf you're passionate about senior care and creating a warm, welcoming environment for residents, we'd love to meet you.
